Some Walk of Fame stars honour fictional characters rather than people. Mickey Mouse was the first, on 13 November 1978, at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre. Later ones include The Simpsons, Godzilla and Kermit the Frog, according to Guinness World Records.

Characters are not the only stars without a single person’s name. The four circular Apollo 11 moon monuments, one on each corner of Hollywood and Vine, were dedicated on 20 July 1973 in the Television category and name Neil A. Armstrong, Edwin E.
